This is a hybrid opportunity based out of dentalcorp’s Toronto Support Centre. The Intern, Junior ETL Developer will help with day to day administrative and ETL related tasks.
In this role, you will

Assist ETL Developers with all relevant administrative tasks

Perform ETL by designing, developing various SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS) packages to extract and transform data

Develop and modify reports used for data conversion

Develop and modify customized SQL Server procedures supporting the Enterprise Environment

Build integration between source system and Enterprise Data Warehouse

Create documentation to record business rules, ETL processes, and procedures
What we're looking for
You are currently enrolled in computer science, computer engineering, or related degree program- Actively engaged in projects or personal coding endeavors outside of the academic coursework
- Eager to gain practical experience in software development, ETL, Data Engineering
- Understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented principals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adapt at picking up new technology
- Ability to learn and work both in groups and independently
- Excel in problem-solving and troubleshooting technical issues by leveraging strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and ensuring high quality deliverables
- Collaborate effectively with team members and have great communication skills
- Working knowledge in at least one programming language like SQL or Python is an asset
- Working with relational Databases (e.g. SQL Server, Snowflake) is an asset
