Job Profile
The Innovation and Technology Department - Water and Waste Division is offering Internship employment opportunities as a Programmer Analyst 1 Intern to work in the Business and Systems Analysis stream from May 1, 2024 until August 30, 2024.
As the Programmer Analyst 1 – Intern (Business and Systems Analysis), you will:
- Participate as a member of a Business and Systems Analysis team.
- Meet with subject matter experts to understand and document business requirements.
- Gather requirements through interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing documentation, business processes and procedures.
- Assist in writing and executing test cases.
- Other duties as assigned consistent with the job classification.
Your Education And Qualifications Include
- Successful completion of at least 1 year of a recognized university/college program in Information Systems and Technology, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge in business and systems analysis.
- Excellent analysis and design sense, along with methodical attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge in writing test plans, test cases, and test scripts is preferred.
- Experience in manual functional software testing is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Organizational and time management skills with the ability to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities.
- Ability to develop effective and positive working relationships.
