Job Profile
The Innovation and Technology Department - Water and Waste Division is offering Internship employment opportunities as a Programmer Analyst 1 Intern (Software Development) to work in the Software Development stream from approximately May 1, 2024 to August 30, 2024.
As the Programmer Analyst 1 – Intern (Software Development), you will:
- Participate as a member of a development team and develop code and unit tests.
- Analyze, build, test, and implement applications.
- Test, report, diagnose, and repair software bugs.
- Demonstrate strong object-oriented analysis, design, and development skills.
- Provide prompt and efficient technical support for IT systems and technologies.
- Other duties as assigned consistent with the job classification.
Your Education And Qualifications Include
- Successful completion of at least 1 year of a recognized university/college program in Information Systems and Technology, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, and OO design and programming principles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Web Api and EntityFramework
- Demonstrated knowledge of Angular framework, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, JQuery or similar.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational and time management skills with the ability to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities.
- Ability to develop effective and positive working relationships.
