POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Intern will support daily operational activities like starting NCR investigations from the shop floor, manual activities of documentation updates, and following the proper implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Identifying the part # of materials that require to update its receiving instructions in the Wiki platform, also, identify the CTQ requirements and inspection methods (Sample Size, jigs, tools required).
3.Updating the Wiki platform with the right information including material pictures, diagrams, flows, and inspection sample size chart, as required.
4. Assisting, from IFS, in the daily identification of critical NCR’s from production or customer RMA, and open internal investigation to identify true RCA and CAPA.
5. Implementing the CAPA in the production shopfloor or area involved, with the support of production team members and QAM, following it with improvement validation.
6.Using the NCR investigation results to properly fill out an 8D form and save the document in the correct server locations and HQMS as required.
7. Identifying and update the ISO 9001:2015 process documentation. Save the updated documents in the HQMS and communicate the status for process users' training.
EDUCATION:
Pursuing an Electronic Engineering Technical Diploma
MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Visio.
- Knowledgeable about quality principles like Root Cause analysis and identification of corrective and preventive actions, 8D and PPAP’s methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of electronics.
- Eager to learn, detail oriented and apply new knowledge.
- Some manufacturing experience would be an asset.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifting, pushing pulling and carrying of no more than 15 lbs., walking, bending, sitting, standing.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The job position will be developing its function between electronic manufacturing facility, which includes louder equipment, assembly workstations and desk activities.
