About The Position

Poka is looking for a budding marketing practitioner to join our team as an intern during the Winter 2022 semester. In this role, you will have a chance to experience the day to day of a fast-growing B2B SaaS company, and contribute to a variety of important projects. To be successful in this role, you need to be detail-oriented, creative and curious.

You will be responsible for:

Demand Generation
Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems for both new business and expansion pods
Research and create lists of targeted accounts and contacts
Help with the creative deliverables for programs (images, copy, design)
Assist with QA'ing our database in Salesforce
Creating mailing lists for database mailers
Digital Marketing
Update digital advertisements on our paid media platforms
Conduct keyword research
Social media monitoring
Prepare emails for distribution
Product Marketing
Help with content and creative deliverables including product demo videos, presentations
Conduct competitor research

Qualifications:

Bachelor's student in Administration, Marketing or Communications;
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel;
Solid understanding of different marketing techniques and strategies;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with HubSpot or Salesforce is an asset;
Experience with Photoshop, video-editing tools like Camtasia and other adobe tools is an asset;
Experience with digital advertising, SEO, paid media management is an asset.
