Job Description:

We are looking for a Data Analytics Intern between the Jan to April, 2024 (extension optional), to work on a hybrid basis (half remote and half in the Toronto office, on Bay Street) – please note, this requirement might change. Some of the major role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Collecting, storing and analyzing a variety of data using a multitude of approaches and programs

Bringing technical expertise to ensure accuracy of data within the insurance Industry

Working knowledge of Python and SQL, Performing data visualization in Power BI

Knowing how to manipulate Excel files and to use it in conjunction with other applications

Other work as assigned

Ideal Candidate:

Has a keen for this discipline and an analytical mind, is able to effectively interpret a variety of data/metrics and contextualize it in a business environment

Must possess strong technical skills in applications such as: Power BI, Excel, Python, SQL, R, DAX, VBA, ETL

Must have excellent presentation and organizational skills, be extremely organized and a team-player
