Our Toronto office is currently seeking an Accounting Intern, reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Receivable. This position will work with the firm’s Accounts Payable & Billing Group. The ideal candidate is organized and professional who possesses great customer service skills and a strong work ethic.

Employment Type: Internship, 6 months
Salary: $18/hour
Start Date: May 22, 2023
Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Work Type: Onsite until fully trained then transition to hybrid (3 days in office)

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Cash receipts application (Credit card, cheques, E-transfer wire & EFT).
Account reconciliations.
General Ledger account reconciliations.
Monthly billing of client accounts.
Work in progress and accounts receivable write-offs.
Credit and collections.
Customer service (Emails, phone, in person)

The successful candidate must have the following education, experience and/or demonstrated skills:

Completed or attending Accounting & Finance program at post-secondary institution.
Advanced skills in Word and Excel.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 2016.
Detail oriented with good communication & organizational skills.
