About The Job

Brightly Canada, with offices in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver, is seeking to hire an Analyst Intern to work on our Sustainability & Energy Analytics team. Our team is comprised of talented consultants and industry experts providing market leading services to commercial real estate clients by leveraging data and advanced analytics to drive energy savings and carbon emissions reductions.

As An Analyst Intern On Our Team You Will

Become a contributing member to highly technical and unique client projects focused on improving asset operation using engineering principles.
Assist the delivery of our services, including asset performance auditing, building optimization, real-time data analytics, and utility submetering and cost allocation.
Support a variety of clients across several asset classes, including managers and operators of large real estate portfolios spanning Canada, United States, and an increasingly global presence.
Learn to work in a fast-paced environment with a team of supportive and high-performing engineers and professionals.
Gain valuable exposure to engineering consulting services and sustainability in commercial real estate.
Use your skills to make a meaningful difference in the well-being of our society and planet.

This is a 12–18-month internship starting in Summer 2024.

This position will work onsite in the Toronto, Calgary, or Vancouver office, with the ability to work remotely some days. This is not a 100% remote position.

What You Need To Have

Second- or Third-year student currently enrolled in an undergraduate university program focused on sciences, math and/or engineering.
Organization and delivery: Candidates should be well-organized and be able to prioritize and manage multiple technical tasks under set timelines.
Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc).
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in written communications.
Strong problem-solving skills with desire to embrace learning and technical challenges.
