Position Summary
This student will be required to help control customer hardware assets in a lab. This includes inventorying new hardware that arrives from customers, dealing with older hardware that needs to be sent back to customers, and coordinating hardware with Technical Project Managers (TPMs), Developers, and Testers.
Location: Ottawa, ON
Length of Term: 4 Months
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for Customer Hardware inventory
- Incoming Assets: Asset tags, pictures, etc
- Outgoing Assets: Contact customer/ TPM, shipping returns or e-waste
- Coordinate with TPMs, Developers and Testers for required hardware and parts
- Opportunities to validate hardware connectivity, reflashing, and potentially even run some basic smoke tests
Skills & Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant university or college program
- Well organized
- Good communicator
- Takes initiative to complete tasks with proper diligence
- Familiarity with handling computer hardware & electronics is an asset
