Ferrero Canada’s Commercial Early Career Program (ECP) is looking for our next
Marketing Intern to join our
Premium Chocolate Marketing team.
The Early Careers Program embodies the Ferrero spirit of Learning by Doing and you’ll see first-hand how Marketing concepts go from concept to implementation in the world of Sweet Packaged Foods, while working with iconic brands like Ferrero Rocher.
You’ll get a chance to monitor competitors, track social media, collaborate on in-store promotions and packaging artwork, complete ecommerce product sheets, handle ad hoc sales requests, analyze consumption data, and create presentations. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to take on a challenging business need, develop and present a solution. Whether it be a new business process, an analysis tool, or a recommendation to renovate an existing technology, you will influence how Ferrero moves forward.
This position is
HYBRID and will be a
4 month PAID Internship, starting
January 2025.
Main Responsibilities:
Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor and document competitive range from key manufacturers using a combination of online and in-store research
- Monitor competitive Social Media activity based on specific portfolios and brands
Creative Artwork and POS Development:
- Work with Shopper Marketing team to develop in-store point of sale materials and artwork creative
- Review artwork on packaging for 2025-2026 Innovation projects with Agency partners
- Work with graphic agency on new product renderings
Innovation documentation:
- Ecommerce product information management sheet completion for 2025-2026 Innovation projects
- Ad hoc requests from sales teams with regards to innovation project details
Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct monthly analysis on Premium Bars category consumption data (Nielsen, Excel, Point of sales data)
- Leverage the data to create compelling, actionable analyses and presentations.
- Support with additional ad hoc analysis
Presentation building:
- Monthly Performance analysis presentation on Bars business focused on key takeaways
- Support Senior Brand Manager in creation of sales presentations and Media brief slides
Who we are looking for:
- Graduated from post-secondary educational institution or are currently in your 3rd year or above, studying Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales or a related discipline
- Proficient with MS Office Suite tools
- Ability to adapt and learn new things quickly and accurately
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Collaborative, and works effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical capabilities with intermediate-advanced skill in Excel
- Detail & results orientated
