What is the opportunity?
You’ll join Strategy, Visioning and Planning team which supports Wealth Management Canada’s digital and data strategy, portfolio management and strategic partnerships. As part of a collaborative strategy team you will support our business partners to define business problems, research current state issues, and develop solution hypotheses.
What will you do?
You will be supporting two key areas i.e., Digital and Data Strategy and Partnerships, Portfolio and Planning:
- Contribute to clear, business slides, capable of telling a project narrative
- Develop diagrammatical schematics to describe digital systems
- Defined research, specific to individual project outcomes
- Collate financial data into graphs or slides
- Support creation of lean portfolio management process
- Create a dashboard to show health and trends reports & insights
What do you need to succeed?
- An open and flexible approach to team work
- Curiosity and the confidence to ask critical questions
Must-have
- Critical thinking /strategic mindset
- Good research and analysis skills
- Ability to absorb and synthesize complex information quickly
- MS Excel/PowerPoint skills
Nice-to-have
- Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of financial and benefits tracking
Please note:
In order to be eligible for these student positions, you must either:
- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
