Job Summary

BD-Canada seeks to hire a Full-time Marketing Summer Student who will support the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) Business unit. BD-Canada seeks a talented, energetic student who will work with MPS marketing team to promote innovation and growth by championing and demonstrating the value proposition of our products.

Scope

The Marketing Summer Student will assist the MDS team of Product Managers and Marketing Director with day to day marketing requirements and key projects to support key platforms strategic drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing team with planning and execution of MDS conference calendar and professional education programs.
  • Support the day to day requirements of the sales team for literature, samples, and programs.
  • Work closely with the Product Managers to contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Conduct key market assessments and make recommendations to the MDS marketing team.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to validate content and upload information on newly created website.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Currently enrolled in a University undergraduate or graduate program (Business or Life Sciences programs preferred).

Knowledge And Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
  • Bilingualism an asset

LOCATION:

BD Canada Headquarters in Mississauga, ON.

Employment is conditional upon successful completion of a detailed background check.

Position Details

40 hours per week. May - August 2024
