Teladoc Health’s summer internship program allows students to gain hands-on experience by applying their academic curriculum to real-world situations. We are looking for a skilled, motivated, and innovative people to join our 2024 EMERGE Summer Internship Program. Interns will receive valuable training and mentoring to support their professional growth, develop marketable skills, and learn about Teladoc Health’s business and the healthcare industry. This is a paid opportunity, in which interns will be assigned projects and tasks relevant to Teladoc Health’s current business needs.
Summary of Position:
Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting & Analysis, the Accounting/Finance internship provides hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting and finance, offering an opportunity for professional development and growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare variance account analysis and related schedules
- Assist with monthly financial statements and reporting
- Assist in month end bank reconciliations
- Assist with account reclassifications, account reconciliations and accruals.
- Assist with monthly revenue forecasting and analyzing forecast to budget
The time spent on each responsibility reflects an estimate and is subject to change dependent on business needs.
Qualifications:
- Working towards towards a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
- Proficient with MS Office (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Superior interpersonal skills, communication skills (oral and written) and takes initiative
- Organized and able to effectively prioritize to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Education:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Master's program and returning to school in September 2024
- Must have a educational focus on accounting or finance
- Must be currently residing in Canada
