Summer Marketing Internship

International Language Campus in Toronto is looking for the next marketing superstar!

As an EF (Education First) Summer Student specializing in on-the-ground marketing, you will be an integral part of our dynamic housing team. This position offers hands-on experience in executing marketing initiatives, engaging with host families/students, and contributing to the success of EF Toronto Campus during the busy summer season.

Responsibilities:

Promote New Launches:

• Execute launch strategies for new promotions
• Ensure that key messaging is effectively communicated to target audiences.
  
  

Community Events:

• Act as a brand ambassador, promoting EF in high-traffic areas
• Engage with potential customers, provide information about hosting, and create positive brand experiences
• Assist in the preparations by implementing on-the-ground marketing strategies
• Maintain an organized inventory of promotional items
• Gather customer feedback and report findings to the housing team
  
  

On-the-Ground Content Creation:

• Capture photos, videos, and testimonials during on-the-ground activities
• Identify all local channels to develop new leads, work collaboratively with the housing team to follow up, monitor, and report on the leads throughout the sales funnel
• Assist in coordinating various marketing methods including, newsletter, print ads, social media, and identify innovative ways of marketing
• Responsible to work on new client testimonials and house family visits
• Help generate and follow up on new and existing leads
• Ability to achieve set targets and maintain high conversion rate
  
  

Qualifications:

• Enthusiastic and outgoing personality
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of content creation (photo and video)
• Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented with superior multitasking and organizational ability
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Marketing or business-related studies preferred
• Knowledge of the GTA is a plus!
  
  

Job Types: Part-time or Full-time, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op

Salary: $18.00 per hour

• On-site at school: 9am to 1pm or 1pm to 5pm
• Weekends/Evenings as needed for events
