Position: Information Technology Intern

Purpose:
As a member of the Digital and Innovation team, you will have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, rotating through different teams and initiatives.
We are looking for an Information Technology Intern to join our team and assist with various tasks related to IT support and asset management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow within the IT field. The intern will work closely with IT support staff and the project lead to ensure that IT operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Work with IT Support on monthly audit requirements, including contacting staff, reviewing/updating reports, updating audit documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with Intune rollout on desktops and cell phones, including communication to users, scheduling, and supporting staff during migration.
- Act as a resource to collect and input hardware asset information, including end-user devices such as laptops, desktops, monitors, phones, and other related IT equipment.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues as needed.
- Provide support for the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborating with IT support staff and project leads to ensure all IT-related tasks are completed quickly and efficiently.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the IT field.
- This is a 5 day per week, onsite position at the Cityview location.
Skills & Qualifications/Program:
- Currently in 2nd year or higher, pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems and hardware.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune or other mobile device management platforms as asset, but not an requirement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with asset management systems is a plus.
This is a paid internship position, with a minimum commitment of 12 weeks. The intern will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop skills in the IT field.
