Reporting to the Reception Supervisors, the reception intern will assist the reception team in room reservation bookings, welcome guests upon arrival and during their stay, provide information about the establishment and its services, as well as tourist attractions, and handle customer payments.
Job Description
- Assist in reservation bookings.
- Coordinate guest arrivals and departures.
- Promote the hotel's products and services.
- Collect payments for services offered.
- Address inquiries related to the establishment's services, tourist attractions, and various regional activities.
- Coordinate group arrivals and departures.
- Handle incoming calls.
- Address customer complaints.
- Perform any other tasks related to customer service.
Qualifications And Skills
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Availability to work variable schedules, including days, evenings, and nights.
- Knowledge of tourist attractions and the city in general.
- Ability to demonstrate a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to identify customer needs.
- Enrolled in a hospitality, tourism, and/or restaurant program.
- Proficiency in English and French, both spoken and written.
Languages: Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position as we serve an international clientele.
