Building the Most Loved Brands
Our 15-week internships for undergraduates give top-performing individuals an early taste of real business challenges. During your summer with us, you'll get to own a key project that's been selected by our senior leaders. Some past examples include developing a methodology for tracking working capital assets and liabilities, redesigning our food holding tool to automate and simplify food holding times, etc.– projects which offer the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the business. This is definitely not a coffee-getting, copy-making kind of internship – you'll be using your skills to the fullest. Do well, and we'll invite you to join our Leadership Development Program after you graduate.
The Program
Onboarding
It all begins with a week of orientation activities at our corporate office. We'll give you an in-depth snapshot of our business and culture by exposing you to brand and functional overviews and exciting trainings such as problem-solving methodology which will set you up for success during your project-based internship. You'll also spend time learning about our guest experience and restaurant operations.
Project work
After onboarding and training, you'll jump right into your project. The challenging project assigned to you will enable you to make a big impact on our organization – every project we assign to our interns receives sign off by senior leadership to ensure the work supports a key initiative of our organization. Projects assigned to interns support work in marketing, digital, communications, retail, supply chain, operations, development, finance, global business services and our restaurant technology group to name a few.
Ongoing support
You'll receive plenty of guidance, support, and exposure. In addition to getting assigned a buddy within the company, you will continue to receive trainings, participate in leadership team lunch-and-learns, have formal and informal performance reviews, and attend social outings with fellow interns.
Final presentation
At the end of your internship, you'll deliver a final presentation to the head of your department, outlining your proposal and recommendation(s) to the leadership team.
