Cold Lake’s Indigenous Internship Program is an opportunity for local Indigenous candidates to gain practical, hands-on work experience at our Cold Lake operation. Interns will be trained and mentored in a supportive work environment.
The Environmental, Emergency Response and Security Intern position is available at Imperial’s Cold Lake, Alberta location. This is a term position providing up to one year paid internship with the possibility of a one-year extension. Upon successful completion of the indigenous internship program, possibility for offer of full-time employment.
Your primary responsibility will be supporting the Environment, Regulatory, Emergency Response and Security Team at the Cold Lake Operations site ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and approvals, and supporting implementation of the company’s environmental, emergency response and security strategy.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain valuable experience in the oil and gas industry. We offer you challenging, discipline-related work experience in an operating environment.
Transportation to and from the work site is provided to those within 80 km from the Cold Lake operations. If you reside further than 80 km away, you are required to make arrangements for a pick-up point within the 80 km.
