We are looking for positive, confident, collaborative individual with strong analytical & influencing skills to join our Operational Excellence Team in the Central Region.
The position help support an employee problem-solving mindset & promote a culture of continuous improvement in the region; Will work closely with Regional Operations Leaders/cross functional stakeholders to improve business processes by leveraging lean principles & methodology, while driving best practice standardization across Canada including key performance indicators & operational playbooks.
The position will also help implement our automation & digital transformation strategies.
This role requires you to be on-site, working between Mississauga & Vaughan distribution centers.
Your Contributions To The Organization Will Be
- Support the National Manager Operational Excellence in the execution of the National OE & automation strategies at the regional/site level. Provide support in the development of technical solutions to a wide range of operational problems.
- Work closely with operations leaders to identify continuous improvement opportunities in the region, ensuring alignment with strategic directions & objectives - with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, & Culture.
- Oversee regional project management (via Hoshin) ensuring project leaders deliver on commitments as per project milestones & facilitate regional project update calls.
- Lead/facilitate collaborative projects within warehouse operations & distribution.
- Create & manage reporting tools/dashboards/ KPI reports for the region ensuring standardization with counterparts across Canada to provide insightful, actionable recommendations to operations leaders to improve overall performance.
- Lead the development of operational focused digital scorecards/dashboards (By Site, Regionally, & Nationally)
- Provide analytical support to the region as required.
- Maintain & actively manage relationships with cross-functional departments & counterparts across the country to improve operations understanding of the overall business & drive best practice sharing & standardization.
- Support Lean Six Training for the region as required & maintain training records.

- You are working on your bachelor’s degree in a technical / business field - Industrial Engineering or Business, preferred
- You are a student who has completed their first, second, or third year, preferred.
- You have strong people skills with ability to influence internal & external customers to drive value-added solutions.
- You have strong analytical skills leveraging reporting/insight tools such as. Excel, Access, Tableau, & Power BI.

Considered An Asset
- Project Management experience
- Experience working in/or supporting distribution logistics organizations and/or manufacturing facility(s)
- Exposure to Lean principles/methodology.
- Lean Six Sigma experience (Yellow/Green Belt certified) - If hired you will be eligible to earn your Yellow Belt certification.
