Who are we looking for?
Combined Insurance is currently hiring for a Sales Execution Intern to support the Director of Distribution ensuring efficient day-to-day operation of the Distribution Department. Partnering with internal stakeholders to optimize and deliver a seamless end-to-end field support experience. The role will focus on the effectiveness of the ‘execution of sales activities’ and provide strategic input on all aspects of business readiness, report analysis and ongoing operational excellence.

Responsibilities
- Reviewing the independent sales leader and agent structure and ensuring the structure is optimized and meets our current hierarchy expectations.
- Maintaining a national and regional view of all sales incentive campaigns/rewards that are planned with a lens to ensure limited overlap.
- Evaluating incentive campaigns/ rewards to determine sales engagement and effectiveness (cost and time etc) of the various campaigns; did they accomplish what they were intended to accomplish.
- Leads efforts to monitor the sales practices and metrics related to quality business, including persistency and cancellations, and to drive corrective actions as required to achieve company standards.
- Identifies engagement of agents, based on various metrics and participation rates, and coordinates action plans with the local management team.
- Monitors the metrics of the new agent experience within sales. Partners with sales leadership and other support functions to address and improve results.
- Works closely with Marketing to assist in the distribution of sales promotion, motivational messaging, and incentive award materials, including periodic communications to agents.
Requirements
- MS Office skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Oral and written communication skills
- Strong record of academic achievement
- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
- Local to the Greater Toronto Area
- Relevant Majors could include Business Administration and Finance
Schedule: May 2023-August 2023 (Dates TBD); Full-time (Monday to Friday), 37.5 hours/week
