MTU Maintenance Canada is looking for new Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration or Project Management graduates!
Work term: 8 months with a possibility of an extension
Main Duties
Support the Engineering Support Engineer department with:
- Support and project managing roll out of tools GPS tracking system
- Continuous improvement, LEAN and 6S activities to reduce waste and increase value-added on the shop floor
- day-by-day support in engineering activities and projects as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
New graduates of a degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, project management or business administration with a strong interest in Aviation Industry. In addition, the following skills are preferred:
- Minimum of 1 year work experience in Engineering or Project Management
- 3D Mechanical design applications (Solid Works, CATIA, NX12 etc…)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- MS Office skills (advanced user)
- Excellent Business English (oral & written)
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, can do attitude and adaptable
- Motivated in continuous improvement and learning
- Must be an analytical thinker, initiator, and problem solver
- Energetic, hardworking and effective in team working environment as well as working independently with minimal supervision
- Interest and basic knowledge of aviation industry
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months
Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- No weekends
