Dream is looking for an Intern, Impact Strategy (4 Month Term)

You will have a demonstrated knowledge of impact investing and/or impact management, and a genuine concern for helping achieve positive social and environmental outcomes.

What will you do?
The successful candidate will provide a strong supporting function to the Head of Impact Strategy and Delivery. Below are some examples of things you would be working on:
- Provide support in maintaining and updating our Impact Management System
- Review and revise Key Performance Indicators for measuring and monitoring social and environmental outcomes
- Collect and document evidence-based research related to identifying, measuring, and monitoring impacts in cities and/or the real estate industry
- Assist with research tasks related to white paper production
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external written communication
- Liaise with staff across the organization in support of impact initiatives and reporting.
What type of experience should you have?
In addition to being able to showcase your collaborative mindset and positive attitude, you need to be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, with a focus on Business Management, Urban Planning, Environmental Studies, or Sustainability.
The following are keys to your success with us:
- Being diligent and detail oriented when preparing deliverables
- Being driven to continuously learn from experiences and seek out feedback and development opportunities
- Working hard and smart to meet demands at key times of pressure
- A student currently enrolled in Business, Engineering or Sustainability program; experience in renewable energy, ESG reporting, or green building certifications is an asset
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of, or experience in, real estate environments
