About the Role:
As the Summer 2023 HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of Borrowell's HR Team and provide day-to-day operations support to employees and leaders. You will be responsible for ensuring all employees are properly supported throughout their Borrowell journey.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the HR team including: processing people changes, maintaining employee records, documenting processes, etc.
- While executing administrative and operational duties, you will also help the team scale and improve our internal processes
- Help create a culture of inclusivity within our remote environment
Requirements
- Interest in learning full-cycle HR Processes in a fast-paced, high growth environment
- Demonstrated relationship-building, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for learning and problem-solving - you enjoy figuring out the unknown, being creative and resourceful with how you build solutions, and experimenting new ideas

We are remote-first across Canada, meaning you have no mandatory obligation to come in-office. However, if you want to come in-office and meet the team at any point, you are free to do so. The majority of your team is in Toronto and the surrounding areas, with a main office in downtown Toronto within a 5-minute walk of Union Station.
