Summer Intern - Market Research and Sales Lead Development
We are looking for a university intern interested in joining an exciting start-up focused on digitizing the building materials sector. As a member of the Sales team, you will be part of a fast-paced, rapidly growing company, with an opportunity to learn the latest Sales tools such as Hubspot Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Position Requirements:
· Business, marketing or technical degree
· Able to work in C60’s downtown Montreal office
· Willing to learn about the ready-mix concrete business
· Comfortable with HubSpot CRM, Lusha and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
· Attention to detail
· Experienced with Excel
· Experience with any database software is a plus
Job Description:
Market research will include collecting data from websites focused on ready-mix concrete (RMC) companies located in the U.S. and Canada, determining the size and specialty of the company, recording key information such as contact name, phone numbers and email addresses along with company facts such as the number of concrete plant locations. Check accuracy of data in the HubSpot CRM by comparing it to RMC website information.
Using a phone call script, make cold calls to ready-mix concrete companies, asking questions and recording answers to those questions in the HubSpot CRM system and/or into Excel.
