WHAT IS HAVAS FORWARD?
Havas Forward is Havas Media Canada’s Summer Fellowship (Internship) program, kicking off June 5, 2023. It is designed to provide enriching skills training, and the opportunity to build industry relationships that will facilitate personal growth and meaningful development for a career with Havas Media.
The vision of Havas Forward is to focus on the development of diverse talent entering the media advertising industry, providing meaningful learning experiences while also allowing us to build into individuals that will hopefully be a lasting part of Havas Media. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Don’t know anything about advertising or media, but think you're interested? Havas Forward is for you! We want folks who are self-starters, inquisitive, thrive in a team environment, and are passionate about learning.
FELLOWSHIP (SUMMER INTERNSHIP):
Our Summer Fellowship program runs for 12 weeks with 3 days/week in office. This will provide a meaningful learning and development opportunity for recent graduates (or those who require work experience to graduate), while also allowing us to build into talent, who will hopefully become the future talent of Havas Media. Successful Fellows will have the opportunity to receive a full-time offer from the agency after graduation.
In addition to their department-led assignments, Fellows will learn about the industry, and collaborate on a client-focused project throughout the summer. The program aims to provide Fellows with valuable work experience and opportunities for learning. Soft skills workshops and broad industry knowledge are incorporated into the training to give Fellows an understanding of their role in delivering meaningful media experiences for some of the world’s top brands.
In addition to learning from live, in-person training sessions and real-work experiences, Fellows will build lasting relationships with peers and industry leaders.
HAVAS FORWARD PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
- Learning sessions to give participants the chance to learn more about other departments and offerings within Havas Media Group
- We strive for our participants to increase their knowledge and build industry connections through our Lunch with Leadership events, 101 Learning Sessions and client-focused projects
- Additionally, our mentorship offering is a cornerstone of Havas Forward.
WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY?
As a part of the Fellowship, you’ll have the unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and training – setting you up to unlock enormous potential for the foundation of your career. This pathway will give you the foundation needed to qualify for a full-time position at Havas Media Canada. Fellows typically support teams in Strategy, Connections Planning, Digital Investments, Search, Social, Programmatic, Data, and Analytics.

Please send a resume and cover letter indicating your interest in the program and why you should be selected to participate to ca.fellowship@havasmedia.com. Applications received without a cover letter will not be considered.
You will then receive an email with a link to complete a skills assessment. This assessment is designed to demonstrate ideal capabilities for success in the media field.
Those selected to move forward to be interviewed will be contacted no later than March 31, 2023.
