SUMMARY:
The Social Media Marketing Intern will join the marketing team to support paid media initiatives, maintain media partnership calendars, assist with program reporting, assist with brand merchandising initiatives, and support experiential & social initiatives. In this role, you will report directly to the Marketing Manager and will collaborate with departments across the company as well as outside vendors to meet company department deliverables
The Social Media Marketing intern will join the marketing team to support the development and execution of innovative and industry leading social media content strategies. You’ll work day-to-day with the social team to ideate and create content, bringing new and fresh ideas to the table as well as bringing to life the social team plans. In addition, you’ll work with the Sr. Marketing Manager to report on social channel growth & health, competitor strategies, and other initiatives. You’ll report to the Sr. Marketing Manager, and collaborate across the Marketing org to support the team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create content on social media platforms aligned with brand voices/brand vibes/target consumer, with an emphasis on video
- Contribute to social media brand strategy, ideate and create content across social channels
- Support social media team upkeep and organization, writing copy, responding within channels, packing and sending influencer merchandise, file management, and creative requests
· Partner listening / social recapping – be a watchful eye on our partner social and web feeds to capture Phusion brand mentions and competitor programing, assist in monthly and quarterly KPI recapping
· Develop detailed recaps for marketing initiatives aimed at providing a snapshot of the teams efforts, impact and key insights from partner programs.
· Ability to stay on task while working remotely and keep consistent communication.
· Strong multitasking capabilities to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
· Computer skills and extreme familiarity with all social media platforms
· Ability to work in PPT, Excel, Adobe creative suite
· Emphasis on video editing / creation
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail.
· A knack for data analysis and organization
· Understanding of social trends driving culture
· Ability to distinguish our brand voices and types of content that correlate.
