Basic Function: Assist with development, coordination, and execution of opportunities to create memorable Houston Texans (“Club”) fan experiences through gameday and events.
Job Function (Duties & Responsibilities)
- Assist with large scale-scale events such as Training Camp, Draft Party, Kick Off Week, and other events as needed.
- Assist with Corporate Development Events such as Partner Field Day and the Business Partner Invitational Golf Tournament.
- Assist with Marketing and Fan Club events. Coordinate and execute grassroots activations as assigned.
- Assist with Community Development/Community Relations events.
- Assist with Houston Texans Foundation events such as Season Premiere and Taste of the Texans.
- Assist with events as assigned for all departments within the organization, including but not limited to; Ticketing, LUXE, Club, Human Resources, Business Operations, and others.
- Assist with Gameday activations including Bud Light Plaza, BULLevard as well as oversee part-time staff for gameday preparation and activation.
- Assist with LSSE Gameday and events as needed.
- Oversee the storage, inventory and maintenance of equipment, signage, inflatables, props, giveaways, and department storage areas
- Oversee part-time staff for event preparation and activation.
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by the Director of Event Experience and other departmental staff members.
- Participate in Intern Class Benchmark Project.
- Position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications.
- Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information.
- Display strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain solid working relationships.
Supervisory Duties: N/A
Travel Requirements: Local and occasional regional travel for events.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.
- High School Diploma required.
- Previous related experience is preferred.
