What will your typical day look like?
Working closely with other members of the Event and Podium Experience team, the Event & Experience Coordinator helps with the project management and execution of the elements required to deliver virtual and in-person events, on a national basis across the firm. With guidance from the team, this role uses established procedures to:
- Provide administration support of events Assist with the coordination of both client and staff facing events; to include on-site support (virtual and/or in-person)
- Support registration services and reporting where applicable for both events and learning programs
- Event administration including billing close out tasks and compiling survey summary insights
- Assigned to support project-based tasks in support of the greater team priorities
- Answer general event questions and respond to requests for data in a professional and efficient manner Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase productivity
- Provide support for learning and development programs and experiences
- Supporting programming design and delivery i.e. preparing course materials, communications, creating and analyzing surveys etc.
- Research on best practices and the learning and development competitive landscape
With this said, no two days are the same.
About the team
The Event and Podium Experience team are responsible for the end-to-end planning and delivery for National virtual, hybrid and in-person events and programming. The team works in collaboration with our hospitality provider at our flagship office in Toronto in delivering a world class experience for our clients, people and communities. Event and programming planning and delivery include program design and creation, external supplier and production management and technology event solutions that enable an elevated and seamless experience.

In this role, the expected qualifications are:

Working towards the completion of an undergraduate degree or diploma, event and/or hospitality management areas are preferred

Able to consistently deliver high quality customer service in a professional manner

Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize Motivated, a self-starter, independent and proactive
-
Able to work effectively on a team in a virtual team environment Strong in MS Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Bilingual in English/French would be asset
