About the Team:
HR & Corporate Systems is the key IT unit which cater not only internal employee’s but several outside vendors & companies that work & are partner with Rogers. Our portfolio is vast & involve (Payroll, Settlements, Commissions & Fraud etc.) Ideal candidate is someone who has a knack for learning, Any person who is looking to learn new technologies and want to understand how internal IT works in large enterprise will benefit immensely in this role.
What you will do…
- Work closely with the settlement team & ensure that the operations run smoothly and adhere to defined SLA’s.
- Assist team in troubleshooting and fixing any ongoing issue effecting operations.
- Develop, Automate or schedule jobs to reduce manual work.
- Ensure that the documents, runbooks are up to date.
- Participate in change management process and help the team achieve the goals.
- Participate & collaborate in brainstorming sessions, team meetings, project meetings as per the need.
What you will bring…
- Currently enrolled in an accredited co-op, post-secondary institution pursuing a degree in Degree in Computer science / Data science
- Understanding of Data ETL concepts.
- (Knowledge of Informatica or other ETL/Big data tools is plus)
- Understanding of Cloud concepts (Azure)
- Understanding of Operations and Change management process.
