Powered by the Rideau Hall Foundation, Forum for Young Canadians: Summit 360 will bring students 15-18 years old together from communities across Canada to learn, engage, and build networks through a variety of plenaries, interactive workshops, virtual tours, peer-to-peer activities, a youth civics fair, and a chance to network with Parliamentarians. Over three days, students will have an opportunity to:
- Learn more about the various levels of government, Indigenous and northern governance models, citizenship, and decision-making processes in Canada.Create meaningful relationships with other youth from across Canada that share similar interests and a passion to make a difference.Build an understanding and commitment towards Canada’s parliamentary democracy with an awareness and acumen for why democracy matters.Increase their civic onboarding and opportunities for civic engagement by exploring and supporting personal and collective contributions to their communities and country.
