Our Sales Operations team plays a pivotal role in driving our company’s growth by delivering critical data, actionable insights, and valuable information to our revenue-generating departments. By working closely with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Operations, the team empowers them with the data and tools they need to address complex business challenges and achieve strategic objectives.
The team is looking for an organized and detail-driven intern to join their team. If you have a passion for data and systems management, a knack for spotting the smallest details, and an eagerness to dive into the world of sales operations, this is the internship for you!
What Your Typical Day Would Look Like
- You start your day off with a team meeting (scrum) to track the progress on the team’s different projects and learn by sharing innovative ideas. It's a key for idea sharing and inspiration.
- You then get to work on your main project of reviewing Salesforce data. You remove duplicate entries, correct inconsistencies, ensure all data is updated to date and accessible for the team. This data is used by many teams to gain critical insights and make key decisions.
- After lunch, you focus on creating and refining documentation and training materials for the sales team. Your work ensures that the team is equipped with the knowledge of how to access the most accurate information surrounding our sales efforts.
- Next, you have a meeting with the CRM (customer relationship management) team as you are assisting with testing and troubleshooting of our systems. You connect with them to discuss your respective feedback to enable a smoother process.
- You end the day by connecting with your manager to share updates on your progress and receive constructive feedback. To further your learning, they also invite you to shadow one of their tasks, offering valuable insights into their role and expertise.
Here's What Will Qualify You For The Role
- You are currently studying Business or a related field, with an interest in sales operations.
- You have strong organizational skills and are able to manage large data sets.
- You have an eye for detail.
- You’re not afraid to ask questions.
- You have strong Excel skills, it’s a bonus if you have experience using Salesforce.
